Dear Twigg community,

Welcome to the sixth edition of Twigg Recap — your best way to get quickly caught up to speed on Twigg’s progress!

What’s in this edition:

  • Drop of Creator Info Deck
  • Launch of TwiggTales program
  • Community recap
  • New faces!

Info Deck

It’s time to reveal what Twigg is building publicly: release of the Twigg Creator Info Deck and prototype links!

Many of you have been patiently waiting for many months without much of a way to visualize what Twigg is building. “Reimagining Storytelling” and “The new standard for digital storytelling” sound nice and all, but what exactly does that mean? How will the platform work, what does it look like?

We are now releasing the Twigg Info Deck which shows creators (whether authors, brands, agents, or publishers) why Twigg is being built and how it is superior to all other publishing options out there: https://www.canva.com/design/DAF5hYW0Zjs/PWAWwl0rVOhB6vhLsLVOyw/view#1

Not only is this visually beautiful, but it is the most full yet concise overview we have ever given on what, exactly, Twigg is building and the problems it solves.

It may help you understand what you are part of in new light.

And if you are connected to anyone that may benefit from publishing on Twigg (keeping in mind there will be SIGNIFICANT benefits to being an early featured author on Twigg), feel free to forward this deck to them to see if it sparks their interest.

Note that the interactive prototypes are linked within the deck — we shared these prototypes at the reveal party a few weeks ago and now you are free to share them as well!

TwiggTales

We also announced the coming of “TwiggTales”, which promises to help you “get featured on Twigg in 10 minutes a day”. This will be a simple program with workshops, small group “squads” for accountability, and a leaderboard for friendly competition based on word count. The goal is simply to write for 10 minutes a day to make consistent progress on a story you want to publish on Twigg!

Catch the recording of our recent workshop on goal setting, time management, and introducing the program in the “workshop recordings” channel in the discord server. Start thinking about who you’d like to form a squad with and ask around to find your fellow squad members! We’ll be forming squads based on similar interests (e.g. fantasy writers), common group of origin (e.g. Neo Tokyo Citizens), and/or it can just be with any friends you have/whoever you like working with for any reason!

Community

Weekly Outlaw Gatherings have continued to drive creative conversation and fun every Thursday, now at 3:30 EST. The past few weeks we talked about legendary characters, favorite fictional worlds, and talked with The Kingdom and Edward Carpenter about their stories. You can find recordings of all of them on our twitter here: https://twitter.com/twigg_stories

We also announced a partnership with Degenerous DAO: https://twitter.com/twigg_stories/status/1747399542218145927

New faces!

Last month we announced we were hiring, and we ended up onboarding 3 new faces in the last few weeks! We are pleased to welcome to Tim Segewitz as Twigg’s CMO, Edward Carpenter as our Business Development Manager, and Zach Gordon as CFO. See our twitter announcements for a little info on each of their backgrounds!

How to get involved

There are a few simple things you can do to support Twigg during this stage:
1. Attend Outlaw Gatherings and twitter/X spaces — they’re fun, help everyone stay informed, and form tighter community bonds!

2. Make introductions to partners that may be a good fit for collaboration or investment.

3. Keep developing you own stories, and share progress/get community feedback in the Twigg server so we can help you get them in ship shape in time to publish when we launch! Ultimately, your stories are the most important part of this whole ecosystem — what it’s all about. 💜

Conclusion

We’re incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of this mission to reimagine storytelling — as we make the user experience more rich, engaging, and memorable than ever before, while giving creators full control over their work and fan relationships.

If you have questions or thoughts don’t ever hesitate to reach out — just respond to this email, or find me on any other platform. 🤝

All the best,

Stephen
