Event Highlight - Techstars Retail Demo Day

As the anticipation for the launch of the schedule grows, here is another TCSW signature event you won’t want to miss — it’s Techstars Retail Demo Day on 10/10. Ryan Broshar, managing director at Techstars Retail Accelerator, gives us a sneak peak into what to expect from the program’s third Startup Week Demo Day.

What is your event, and how does it work?

Techstars Retail Demo Day is the culmination of our three month accelerator program, where each of our companies gives a pitch in front of a crowd of investors, mentors, retail executives and local startup community members. Like last year, the event will take place at in the Main Room at First Ave in downtown Minneapolis.

How has the Techstars program helped draw a national audience to the Twin Cities?

Our event draws attendees from all over the country. Investors and mentors from within the Techstars network, and beyond, fly in to attend the Demo Day; and more importantly, we’re seeing their attendance and interest bleed into other TCSW events.

What other TCSW events are you planning to attend?

It’s hard to choose. You’ll definitely find me at Techstars Farm to Fork Demo Day, the Beta Showcase, MinneDemo, the Closing Ceremonies and so much more!
