  1. What’s the meaning behind your company’s name/brand?

At NCXT, we believe customers want a better life and are our most accurate guide to the future. That is why Customer Experience (CX) is in the center of our name. As we develop next generation technology, we create Our Best World™ with the customer at the center of everything we do.

2. What’s great about starting something in the Minnesota region?

People in Minnesota appreciate entrepreneurs and innovation. They know first-hand watching or working for household name brands like 3M and Target, that the possibilities are endless for businesses that start in Minnesota.

3. What’s challenging about starting something in the Minnesota region?

Funding, especially for non-white entrepreneurs. Accessing capital is primarily a network activity, as an entrepreneur of color I have to be extremely intentional in expanding my network to include seed stage investors.

4. What fuels you and your company?

The customer is the driver behind everything we do. Through use of human-centered design and a deep understanding of the customer, NCXT uncovers today’s business problems and develops the technology of tomorrow.

5. What stage are you at with your business?

Bootstrapped, hand-to-mouth, or the “shotgun to the head” stage.

6. How can the community support your work?

Support, to me, looks like a community who embraces their ingenuity, cultivating it in themselves and others. Having a customer-focused mindset and connecting with the people you are here to serve builds wider community of people who truly believe in creating Our Best World™.

7. Anything else you’d like to add?

I think it’s an exciting time to be creative because of technology. We are all creators; technology makes our creations even more magnificent than they already are.
