Today, I want to talk to you about a topic that has been on my mind for a long time: “Can love exist without needing external validation?” The twin flame journey is different from external romantic relationships because the connection itself teaches us what love truly is. We all have ingrained ideas about love. What does love look like? How should love be? How does someone behave if they truly love me? Do they try too hard?

If there is a lot of silence between me and my twin flame, does that mean my twin flame doesn’t love me? On the twin flame journey, all our conventional understandings of love are shaken, and love seeks to be understood in its purest form again.

If there is no intense exchange of attention and communication with our twin flame, does the love within us continue to exist? Do you wait for this love? Being patient with love is always nourishing its true reality.

I have always been someone who could hold my love in my heart for a very long time, but I didn’t know how to care for it like a plant. In other words, I wasn’t nourishing myself with my own love. My heart was always craving more. Was it enough for the person I liked to notice me, to feed this affection I felt simply? Or did I need to turn inward and explore why I loved this person, and how this feeling nourished me?

This is where love separates from external factors: it becomes possible when we strengthen the love within our own hearts from the inside. Why should the love that belongs to me — my own love — become more vibrant because of some external factor?

Love that is independent of external conditions is called unconditional love. In essence, we are not looking for a reason to love because every act of love is a reflection of the deep well of love within us, a manifestation of the feeling of existence that springs from inside. Loving is often a need to be seen and to exist. Receiving attention, being touched, being loved — these are human needs. But when these needs are unmet, do we truly become unable to live? At that point, we feel that the love within us is not being nourished by ourselves.

One of the important thresholds on the twin flame union journey is the shift from conditional love to love for the very act of existence itself. Love is an energy and a state of being. It does not need validation.

So, how can we feel unconditional love?
Witnessing our own hearts: Noticing the softness that opens in our hearts when we feel love for our twin flame, and realizing that this feeling exists even if nothing comes from anyone else.

With small practices, we should honor everything that our hearts feel as love. Even when we experience certain landscapes or beauties alone, what we see is recorded in our hearts as love, and we should savor this beautiful love of existence.
