We’re delighted to announce that the Twinkl SEO team has made the final shortlist for the ‘Best In-house SEO team’ category at this year’s European Search Awards.

This means the team has been ranked in the top six in-house SEO teams in Europe!

The European Search Awards are the SEO industry’s biggest awards ceremony and this year’s edition received over 700 entries from all over the continent. Entries are judged by a panel of more than 40 industry experts.

We’re thrilled that the work our SEO team has been doing has been recognised by our peers. Our entry centred around the fact that the SEO team was only founded in January 2019, so the process of planning, implementing and refining a complex SEO strategy on Twinkl’s numerous domains — each containing hundreds of thousands of pages — has happened over a very short time frame.

Twinkl nomination for best in-house SEO team
Congratulations to all the other nominees!

The nomination is very timely, as it will reinforce our team’s drive to help teachers and parents across the world in this difficult time by making Twinkl’s teaching resources easier to find through search engines. We know that our teaching materials are more important now than ever before to support the millions of children now having to learn at home.

It also comes at a time when we are preparing to offer our team’s services to residents of the Hive, Twinkl’s new ed-tech accelerator hub. We’re excited to see how SEO can set the foundations for long-term growth for start-up businesses who are doing great things in education.

We won’t know if we’ve won the award until September, as the awards ceremony — held in Bucharest, Romania — has been postponed until then.

Congratulations to all the other nominees!
