Summer Games Done Quick starts Sunday, July 2 at 9:30AM PDT (12:30PM EDT, 6:30PM CEST) on Twitch! This week long speedrunning marathon features speedrunners from around the globe blazing through over 130 games to benefit Doctors Without Borders.

In their quest to beat last summer’s $1.3 million donation total, SGDQ will feature insane races including a multi-team Super Mario Bros. series relay, amazing challenges like a one-handed speedrun of NieR: Automata, and top tier bonus games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

With a lineup this good, who knows, maybe they can even top AGDQ 2017s total of over $2.2 million raised in January?! Twitch and Twitch Prime have teamed up to help GDQ towards that goal with two new ways to support the charity!

Cheer during SGDQ to show your support for Doctors Without Borders!

When you Cheer during the SGDQ event stream, Games Done Quick will donate 1 cent for each Bit Cheered to Doctors Without Borders. Cheer to amplify your voice in chat, and celebrate the unbelievable feats of speed and precision displayed by the runners! You can also use these sweet custom Games Done Quick Cheermotes:

Twitch Joins GDQ Fans in Supporting Doctors Without Borders

Moved by the spirit of this event, Twitch will join with GDQ fans in celebrating speedrunning and supporting a good cause. For SGDQ 2017, Twitch will donate up to $50,000* to Doctors Without Borders based on your Cheers during SGDQ in the twitch.tv/gamesdonequick channel!

*Twitch’s donation will be a single amount based on the final Bits total and is not cumulative.

Subscribe with Twitch Prime to Support Doctors Without Borders!

Cheering is not the only way you can show your support!

When you subscribe during SGDQ to twitch.tv/gamesdonequick with your free monthly Twitch prime channel subscription, Twitch Prime will donate $5 to Doctors Without Borders (up to $50,000). The GDQ channel will still receive their subscription revenue and Twitch Prime’s donation will be additional.

Twitch Prime’s donation will be a single amount based on the final number of Twitch Prime free channel subscriptions used during the event to subscribe to the GDQ channel.
