Twitch, the world’s leading social video platform and community for gamers, today announced its broadcast and showfloor plans for SXSW Gaming Expo. In addition to marking the company’s first ever booth presence at the show, Twitch is partnering with SXSW Gaming Expo as the official broadcaster of the event’s video game consumer-focused Geek Stage and the SXSW Gaming Awards. Twitch will also feature Zynga Poker right from the booth, with audio provided by Turtle Beach, Twitch’s official US audio partner.

As the official broadcasting partner of SXSW Gaming Expo, the event’s best content will be available for centralized viewing on the official SXSW Portal, with all content broadcast daily from the Twitch Stage (booth #705). On stage hosts include Twitch’s Jon Carnage, Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham, and Anna Prosser Robinson. They will be joined by popular broadcasting personalities Rachel “Seltzer” Quirico, Alex Corea from TheAttack, and John “TangentGaming” Korbey, discussing all things gaming with game publishers, developers, and content creators.

Notable community-driven activities at the Twitch booth include:

  • Turtle Beach Broadcaster Zone
