1. You can play with toxic people or you can live at world-class, you can’t do both

Remove the people who steal your joy.

Who in my life is diminishing my joy?

Who are the people in my life who elevate my joy?

You can be around energy vampires or you can change the world, you can’t do both.

2. Everything that happens to you is for your growth

Your ego is the voice of your fear.

Everything that happens to you is good.

It is the times of suffering that make you great.

Imagine how brave you would be if you were detached from all outcomes.

3. When you own your morning, you’ll elevate your life

Tranquility is the new luxury.

Work on yourself, develop your mindset, do some exercise.

Work on your soulset. Connect with your cause, and your mission, and your values.

Be focused and grounded in your truth.

4. There’s a difference between being busy being busy and genuine productivity

Please don’t confuse movement with getting real things done.

Quality work > busy work.

Be a purist instead of a generalist.

5. It doesn’t matter what other people are doing. All that matters is who you are becoming and how far you’ve traveled

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” — Theodore Roosevelt

Real leadership is not about followership, it’s about leadership.

Run your own race, trust your instinct, be authentic, speak with your own voice, pursue your own ambitions, and be your own woman or man.

Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

What is more powerful than being authentic to your own self.

All that really matters is who are you becoming and how far you’ve traveled.

Make the time to celebrate how far you’ve come.

6. The most loving person in the room wins

When you take care of the relationship, the money takes care of itself.

The business of business is connecting with other human beings.

Being loving and being open and caring about other people and being absolutely obsessed about helpfulness to other people by delivering extreme amounts of value to them is not only the right thing to do, it not only uplifts your joy, it not only grows your self-confidence and makes you feel good when your head hits the pillow every night, it's an amazing business strategy.

Few things are as special as being in the presence of someone who genuinely cares.
