Dear TYCHE Community,

We want to provide you with a recap of our recent community call to ensure that everyone is up to speed on our latest developments and strategies. During this call, we discussed critical aspects of our project’s evolution, token generation event (TGE) plans, and community engagement initiatives.

Project Journey:
We began by revisiting TYCHE’s journey from a simple DEX project to a multi-chain, all-encompassing DeFi platform. Our initial vision was centered around NFTs, but over time, we’ve expanded our scope to include various DeFi tools and services.

Refining Our Approach:
Recent discussions with prominent industry players like Bitget, Gate.io, SeedyFi, and Enjinstarter have been eye-opening. They’ve encouraged us to refine our approach and place a greater emphasis on our DeFi capabilities, while still enhancing NFT utility.

So, we needed to revise our approach to make it clear that we are producing a DeFi toolkit , not an NFT tool.

Then our DeFi tool can be used by NFTs users but not only by them. It’s true that we are creating a Dex, a lending platform (not only for NFTs), we offer NFT staking that generates tokens, in short, a lot of tools that are more related to DeFi than to NFTs and that allow us to link the two by valuing both your tokens and your NFTs.

We help projects give utility to their NFTs, meaning we help them turn them into DeFi tools as well.

So we must change our approach to suits what we are building and let people see how much DeFi you can do with your NFTs rather than how much NFTs are link to DeFi.

Same words but not the same meaning.

Why Delaying the TGE?
One of the key takeaways from these discussions is the importance of timing our TGE correctly. Instead of launching with an MVP, we aim to come to the market with a fully functional project that already generates revenue. This approach will allow us to negotiate from a stronger position with potential investors.

TYCHE Bounties:
We introduced the TYCHE Bounties program as a way for our community to actively participate in our project’s growth. By completing missions related to TYCHE on various platforms, community members can earn rewards such as USDC, TYCHE NFTs, OG roles, and even partner NFTs.

Revised Roadmap:
Our roadmap will undergo significant revisions in the coming weeks. We will prioritize the launch of our Dex over thelending platform, along with exploring additional blockchain platforms. Ethereum remains crucial, and our lending platform will be integrated into the Ethereum network at some point. Details to come.

Community Engagement:
We emphasized the importance of community engagement and how you will play a pivotal role in shaping TYCHE’s future through voting on crucial decisions.

TGE Postponement:
Given these developments and insights, we have decided to postpone our TGE. This delay allows us to bring a more valuable and robust product to market.

Get Involved:
We encouraged our community to actively participate in our project’s development and stay tuned for further updates.

Community questions :

When is the launch of Tyche DEX? Will this happen this year ? Does it depend on $TYCHE?

After careful consideration, our TYCHE Dex is not just a part of our project; it’s a cornerstone. We’re eager to deploy it swiftly, and our plan extends beyond Zksync. Today, with Uniswap V3 and concentrated liquidity, Dex platforms are more efficient, and a token isn’t always necessary to offer attractive APRs for pools like ETH/USDC. Stay tuned for more details!

You mentioned entering a project incubator and launching community campaigns. Can you provide insights into the goals and objectives of these initiatives during this period of delay before the TGE?

Regarding the incubator: We are still in the brainstorming phase. We’ve received a lot of valuable feedback that has helped us find a new direction to turn TYCHE into a true All-in-One protocol without placing excessive emphasis on NFTs. Our goal remains the same, just expressed differently: To use DeFi tools to transform NFTs into added value for the protocols we use, both for us and others.

As for community campaigns: Our aim is to continue mobilizing you and, more importantly, providing you with valuable resources: knowledge, engagement, sharing, and education. Today, the community is the most precious asset for projects, and it’s you who make us exist. Now that our direction is clear, we will involve you in many more things. As TYCHE evolves into a DAO, it’s crucial to involve you in our strategic decisions from the outset.

Is there a way we can get those token as a communication reward like the galleon token if they eventually lauched and you added them to Tyche Dex?

Of course, this is even part of TYCHE’s design and our offering to partner projects. Every project that launches with us will distribute tokens to you through the staking platform, and Galleon is one of them!

As you’re professionalizing and emphasizing community involvement, can you explain how token holders will participate in decision-making regarding deployments, incentives, and partnerships within the project?

Certainly, we will start soon because we are going to deploy our NFT staking platform on other blockchains (and not only our staking platform) using our Celebration NFT mint because it worked very well on Base. The idea is to start involving you in helping us choose the next chains where you want us to deploy.

Then, we want to make the onboarding process for projects completely decentralized, where projects propose to join TYCHE, and then TYCHE HOLDERS will make the decision to integrate a project or not.

We even envision that this could be quite fun. Perhaps one day you will decide to involve a project that didn’t ask to participate? Well, you will have the right to do so because you will decide whether to allow the staking platform to integrate a new collection.

What long-term vision do you have for Tyche as an ecosystem, and how do you plan to ensure its sustainability and growth in the blockchain space? And Are there any specific challenges or lessons learned during this journey that you’d like to share with your community and potential supporters?

I believe we’ve learned a lot since we started this journey. The journey itself is complex, and human interactions are even more so. Starting from scratch and arriving with the vision we have today is a huge step, and we did it with all of you. Throughout this journey, we’ve learned that sometimes giving specific launch dates isn’t a good idea. We’ve learned to communicate better, to understand you better. We’ve also learned to engage with other projects, to build relationships, to improve our approach with investors — so many things, in the end.

What we’ve learned is this: Pleasing you isn’t always the solution, but providing you with added value and making TYCHE a successful project, that’s the right approach. Over-communicating, not necessarily taking certain aspects into account in our timelines — these are all things we learn from every day.

For the long term, we see TYCHE everywhere. We envision ourselves as a project that can do many things to connect NFTs to DeFi without altering the essence of DeFi or NFTs as we know them today.

As for our challenges, they are numerous: continuing to work on this vision, evolving with an ecosystem that doesn’t resemble what we knew six months ago, always staying one step ahead of new narratives — a million things, really.

Are you considering adding « old » nft collections some new utilities (for users, for nft collection creators) through tyche in the near future ?

Absolutely, this is part of what we can do with TYCHE, and it’s actually already in progress with projects like TheRiot, which aims to access the EVM world while giving even more potential to its NFTs. Developing a game with lending capabilities is very interesting for users; it truly adds a dimension of lending, for example, to players who can’t afford rare NFTs.

The challenge is that most projects that are just PFPs (Profile Picture NFTs) don’t have an idea of what they can do, and unfortunately, it’s up to them to discover it, and then we’ll assist them.

In summary, TYCHE is embarking on an exciting journey, and we appreciate your continued support. The postponement of our TGE is a strategic move to ensure that when we launch, TYCHE will bring not just utility but also substantial financial value to our community.

We are committed to keeping you informed, and your involvement will be integral to our success. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements.

Thank you for being part of the TYCHE community.
