Poker Chips with Partial Logo

Pocket Aces is a one of a kind restaurant bar based on a casino style with betting even included on the menu! Named after a poker hand this restaurant is just as unlikely to come across as we only have one location in Center City Philadelphia. With so many restaurants and bars only having their drinks or food to draw people in we wanted to change that by having an experience with the meal as well. Pocket Aces takes a modern casino style interior which includes various casino games inside, plenty of seating, and a large bar. Families can come in for a meal during the day and friends can come in for a drink after work and both can enjoy the various games we have around the building.

Store Front Utilizing color variation to original logo

The Logo was designed to look like a simplified pocket with two aces inside to go with the name of the restaurant, the initial logo is black with a little red for the ace of hearts but there are multiple variations of color to go with different items like the store front, and menu which have dark backgrounds that don’t go with the black very well.

The style and color schemes were crafted with an idea of a higher end but fun aesthetic. The font used in the logo is a sharp and stylized text while most of the script is an alternative gothic font that has a high legibility and clean look to match the aesthetic.

Apparel

The Apparel that we sell is pretty basic and goes with the aesthetic of the restaurant and some have a gambling related joke with it, which goes with the serious look but fun environment. Below are the menus which were modeled off a craps table but with some obvious changes to appeal better to a menu layout, the color was changed from the typical green or blue color to grays for legibility purposes since we know some people take their time going over the menu!

Food and Drinks Menus

With just an individual location we would keep our advertisements local with simple but intriguing signage around the city and then social media efforts will allow us to reach a further audience as well.

Instagram Ad/Post

The website is a long scroll menu with some jump links at the top to go to various locations throughout the page, The website is pretty simple and easy to navigate through which would make userability good.
