Get your wallets ready (your ERC20 Compatible Token Wallet that is, i.e MyEtherWallet, Mist, Parity, Metamask), because the Typerium pre-sale is coming closer and closer. From the 21st of May, 2018 (at 7pm BST) until the 25th of June, 2018, there will be 300,000,000 TYPE Tokens up for grabs.
Investors will be able to purchase TYPE Tokens with Ether via the Typerium website. The price will be set at the ETH equivalent of the listed amount in USD, with the price rising each week to reward early investors. Each allotment will also come with a bonus percentage of TYPE Tokens for free. The details are as follows:
At the time of writing, 1 Ether is worth approximately US$748, so if the pre-sale was held today, an investor could purchase 1,000 TYPE Tokens (US$10) for around 0.0134 ETH.
If a round sells out early, the pre-sale will immediately move on to the next allotment. TYPE Tokens will still be available, but at the next week’s price and with its corresponding amount of bonus tokens. If the pre-sale sells out early, the crowdsale will begin immediately.
Crowdsale
The crowdsale is scheduled to go from the 26th of June, 2018 (7pm BST) until the 23rd of July 2018, but it will begin earlier if the pre-sale sells out early and will close once all of the 700,000,000 TYPE Tokens are sold. In the crowdsale, TYPE Tokens will be available for the Ether equivalent of US$0.05, without the bonus percentages of the presale.
Investors will receive their TYPE Tokens within thirty business days of their purchase. To decrease volatility in the early stages, 50% of TYPE Tokens will be locked for a period of four months after the purchase. KYC processes are required for investments of more than $5,000 in TYPE. Any tokens that aren’t sold in the token sale will be burned. The soft cap of the token sale is $2,000,000, while the hard cap is $40,000,000. For more information, see section 8 of the whitepaper.
How Are TYPE Tokens Distributed?
There is a total supply of 2,000,000,000 TYPE Tokens, with 1,000,000,000 available between the pre-sale and the token sale. Out of the total supply, 20% of the tokens will go towards reserves, 15% to the team, 9% to the ecosystem, 3% to the foundation, 2% to the bounty and 1% to advisors.
