We’re ready to take on the biggest rivals in content creation…

Here at the Typerium head office, we’ve been doing push-ups, running up stairs and all of that other stuff you see in Rocky — except for drinking raw eggs, no one wants to do that. We’re lacing up our gloves and getting ready for a fight.

1. Typerium Will Allow Content Creators to Do Everything in the One Place

Steemit gives its users a way to post content and interact, but Typerium offers so much more. Typerium’s platform will feature intuitive design software that helps its users make the content. Font pairings, image filters, colouring, photography, and other seriously cool elements will step up everyone’s design game, making novices look like they’ve been doing it for years.

A key element of Typerium is that it will allow users to timestamp files to the blockchain so that they can prove ownership of their creative work. The internet is rife with intellectual property thieves and Typerium’s IP protection will give users an anonymous way to authenticate their creations.

Typerium will use TYPE Tokens for transactions, which will be quicker, easier and cheaper than traditional payment gateways. It will one-up Steemit by also having a trust and reputation system that is based on Ethereum smart contracts. This will bring transparency to the platform, help to resolve conflict, reduce fraud and automate a range of processes.

2. Typerium Will Let You Share on Other Social Media Platforms

Steem is a very interesting idea, but lets face it: Steemit is hardly the most interesting community or content creation platform. Sure, this could just be because the platform is relatively young, but the content itself is hardly what lures people to platform — it’s the overall vision. This is going to be a significant stumbling block in bringing the masses to Steemit.

Typerium navigates around this issue, because it allows content creators to post their work to other platforms. Creators can use Typerium to make their designs and then post them to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or elsewhere. This allows them to use all of Typerium’s advantages while still taking part in other communities that they enjoy.

3. Typerium Will Have Private Messaging

Not everything can be said in public, which is why private messaging is essential on any social media platform. It’s a little odd that Steemit doesn’t have any practical way for users to communicate individually.

At Typerium, we know that it’s important to be able to communicate in a number of ways. There are some things that you need to scream from the bell towers, which is why we will have public posts, but there are also those words that need only a faint whisper, which is why you will be able to private message users as well.
