Typography II: Goodbye
I am a little sad that Typography II is over but at the same time I am extremely glad for the break I am going to have. This semester has tested my patience and has challenged me to take my type further than I originally thought possible. I am glad for the challenge because it has made me a better designer overall. I am looking forward to the summer to cultivate more design skills and work on creating an online presence for myself as a designer.
Sometimes when I get stuck in a rut with these projects I wonder why I am in this program and studying design, but then I always have to pick myself back up because I can’t imagine myself doing anything else.
I am a designer at heart and the struggles that come along with that are mine. I like how I can work really hard and appreciate the process rather than just the end product. The accordion especially has forced me to slow down and focus on my process and individual elements rather than the final project. If I just relax and work on the process everything will come together.
So thank you Prof. Inciong for a challenging but great semester. I am looking forward to what Junior year will have in store with me.
Thank you,
Tiamera
