The wait is over — PayPoint has landed

Putting money into your U Account has always been nice and easy. Whether you’ve been receiving your wages, benefits or loans, or transferring funds over from another UK account, it’s been without much ado.

But what about all those times you’ve had a little extra cash? Maybe your aunt sent you 20 quid in a birthday card or you won a few bob at the bookie’s. There wasn’t much to be done with your bank notes, other than spend them.

Well, it’s always been our intention to change that.

Introducing, PayPoint.

PayPoint makes it quick and easy to put cash in your U Account. No standing in long queues at a branch or yelling muffled instructions through a window — just pop down to your local PayPoint-participating corner shop or newsagent with your U card and pay in up to £250 in one go. The money will appear in your account more or less straight away, so you can log in on your mobile there and then to admire your updated balance, if you choose to.

29,000 UK locations

There are 29,000 participating retailers across the country, and with 99% of the UK population living within 1 mile of a PayPoint store in urban areas (or 5 miles in rural areas), you can be sure there’s a place to pay in near you.
