Statement on Panama Visit

After the Colombian visit, the President, Vice President & Secretary of State welcomed Panama to the White House and explained how our relationship with Panama is very much needed.

While in the Oval Office, we were able to explain how our foreign assistance program works, the Council on Foreign Affairs, and how the IC will help foreign countries with the help of our Director of National Intelligence. The United States wants to keep Panama at the forefront and propel them in the international community.

We’re excited to assist Panama and help them in the international community — We thank Panama for establishing an alliance with them today.
