IID — Introduction to Geo-Mapping

In this workshop Ollie taught us about JSON, JavaScript Object Notation, OpenPaths.

Once we were introduced to OpenPaths we were told to go out on a walk to test how the app works and tracks data using GPS and location services.

We came back to class and downloaded a map of our data. Ollie put a template on our server, he taught us about coding in JavaScript which we then coded a small animating app that represented our tracked data.

I didn’t have much data due to me not having location services active before I came to class and when I went on the walk my phone didn’t track much becasue we went underground.
