Decentralized Farming & Staking is Live on Ubeswap

Now anyone can create or import both yield farms and single staking farms for every token!

Ubeswap is excited to announce a new ‘Import Farm’ feature that is now live on the Farm page. ‘Import Farm’ allows anyone to create or import yield farms and single staking farms for every token. This represents another bold step forward on the path toward full community ownership of the platform. Several Celo-native projects have already signed on to use this feature, so what farms do you want to import?

‘Mindblowing’ Decentralization

In the centralized exchange realm, there are a litany of onerous requirements to navigate and steep fees that new projects need to pay in order to get their token listed. In the decentralized exchange realm, many platforms don’t offer equal access to their front-end for new token listings, effectively gating certain tokens. Enter Ubeswap’s new ‘Import Farm’ feature, representing a big step toward decentralizing the platform’s front-end and back-end, putting the community in full control over which tokens they want to farm or stake.

Get Swapping

Since you can farm and stake any token, you’ll probably also want to swap any token too. To do this on Ubeswap, simply follow these steps to add the token to your local browser token list:

1. go to the swap page
2. click on the token select dropdown menu
3. select ‘Manage’ at the bottom of the menu
4. toggle ‘Tokens’
5. paste the token address (0x…) and click ‘import’

Cross-Chain Farming for Everyone

Whether your own project or any other project launched its token on another chain, you’ll want to access more users, liquidity and other beneficial aspects of Celo (mobile-first architecture, carbon-neutral blockchain, near-zero fees, etc…). To do so, simply bridge the token over from its native chain.
