Knights of Degen <> UBET: listing DGEN token on UBET Platform
UBET Sports is thrilled to announce a significant partnership with Knights of Degen (KOD). This collaboration marks an exciting step forward in the world of web3 and sports betting.
Our partnership with KOD is a testament to both organizations’ shared vision and goals. Previously, KOD and UBET interacted through the stake2win program, and due to the success and mutual interest, we have extended this partnership. The highlight of this collaboration is the listing of the DGEN token on the UBET platform!
UBET Sports launched its platform in September 2023, making it less than a year old. Initially, bettors could place bets using USDC. With our V3 smart contract upgrades, we now support any ERC20 token as a currency for betting on sports. This feature not only enhances our platform’s versatility but also provides utility to other tokens by enabling them to be used for betting.
Expanding Horizons with DGEN Token
Knights of Degen (DegenDAO) and UBET Sports have enjoyed a strong relationship, driven by a common interest in web3 and sports betting.
Our partnership with KOD is a testament to the shared vision and goals of both organizations to be a hub for sports in Web 3.
Prior to the partnership, KOD would run contests like KFFL (Knights Fantasy Football League), PropQuest, and CoverQuest where community members could utilize the DGEN token in contests, but the one thing the KOD community lacked and openly desired was the ability to use DGEN for true sports betting.
KOD launched their Stake To Win contest where community members could stake their DGEN on a community run betting team and earn rewards based on the performance of whichever team they chose to stake DGEN on. This was a way for users to seamlessly “trail” the best of the most trusted in the community, but it still wasn’t the full unlocking of the potential of sports betting with DGEN.
KOD and UBET first partnered in KOD’s Stake To Win contest for Season 2 as a way to engage further and integrate the two communities and also to start a journey of a long-lasting partnership.
As a result, the first token to be listed on the UBET platform is Knights of Degen’s native token, DGEN!
This integration is something KOD has eagerly anticipated and now with the UBET platform, they can merge their betting contests into a sportsbook, place bets seamlessly, and track their ranking on a leaderboard to distribute prizes!

Empowering the DegenDAO Community
Moreover, DegenDAO members can now become the “house” or liquidity providers for the DGEN token (the UI for this feature will be released in a month from now). This means that members can provide liquidity for DGEN bettors and earn transaction fees (the vig) from bets. This role is significant because it adds another layer of utility for the token and offers a way for members to generate passive income.
The relationship between Knights of Degens and UBET Sports has always been strong, driven by our shared interest in web3 and sports betting.
