Data-mining. Launch of data collection worldwide

The Ubex project is continuing its series of publications regarding the development progress being made on the platform. In this release, we will be talking about the launch of data collection.

The development team is currently in the process of concluding testing of the data-mining service and will be ready to demonstrate its fully functional version in the coming months.

How does data-mining work?

The process of data-mining starts when the webmaster registers in the Ubex application. In the data-mining section, the webmaster then adds an unlimited number of sites that they host. The system generates a JavaScript counter for each site, and the webmaster only needs to insert the counter into the template of their site between the <body> </ body> tags. The Ubex team recommends placing the counter as high as possible to the top of the page so that it loads as quickly as possible and does not cause any problems when counting the site’s audience.

What kinds of data do we collect?

- Information about the user’s browser (browser version, operating system type);

- Information about the user’s device (desktop, phone, tablet);

- What pages the user watched on the site and what actions they made;

- User’s region and language.

In the dashboard, the webmaster sees a full report regarding the visitors that have entered their websites. The webmaster is then paid in UBEX Tokens. Payments will be made automatically and once a week. Such an approach will allow greater automation of data collection and will virtually be delegating the process to the webmasters, allowing for lower loads on the Ubex core.

The Ubex team is continuing to develop the platform and is on schedule, according to the stated roadmap goals. Stay tuned for more news and updates from Ubex.
