My First Eid in the UAE with the Urban Company team!

I moved to Dubai two months ago to head Urban Company’s Beauty & Wellness business in the UAE. Being new to the city and the team, I don’t think there could have been a better way of getting inducted than the month-long celebrations of Ramadan!
We used this period for reflection and growth on how to build a better and stronger UC. For our next growth phase, we must appreciate, respect & nurture the interdependence with our stakeholders — customers, partners, and employees. Here in the UAE, we work hand-in-glove not only with service professionals but also with van drivers & salon owners. Together, we create magic and deliver high-quality services to our customers.
During the holy month, we created numerous memories within this ecosystem to celebrate unity, love & enjoyment. Take a look!
Celebration of gratitude
We hosted Iftar parties at our JLT office for all our 100+ vendors to sit together, discuss a multitude of topics and learn about each other over some delicious food.
As our 150+ van drivers were busy on the roads ensuring impeccable fulfillment, our teams met on ground to break the fast together with hand packed Iftar boxes.
We recognised our top partners across categories for their dedication and customer obsession.
Token of appreciation
We also thanked our customers for their continued loyalty and faith in us. It is a pleasure to serve you. This Eid, we’ve got you covered!
- We extended our service hours to be at our customers’ doorstep early in the morning up until midnight.
- As our customers get ready for Eid with us, we also packed in some extra love. Look out for a surprise gift from Mamaearth with every booking of Salon, Spa & Massage. It was wonderful that two Indian companies came together in an international market, like the UAE, to create delightful experiences for customers.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our partners for devoting their heart and efforts to take our mission forward. I also thank our customers for their constant love and support.
