Content Designer (Contract)

Urban Company is the world’s largest home services platform across India, UAE, and Singapore. We deliver services like Beauty treatments, appliance repairs & services, massages, home repairs, home cleaning, and many more at-home like never experienced before.

We’ve also built our own water purifier and smart door locks that are absolutely loved by our customers.

Ever smirked at the clever design of Apple’s product landing pages? Ever scrolled through the designs about a new, unique product and understood what it means without getting bored? This is what we are gunning for! Selling physical products online is easy. Explaining at-home services is hard.

What we expect you to do

• You’ll design all things graphics in our app’s detail pages of services, & products (also, any kind of assets we create for core-app’s flows)
• Work with different teams to gain deep understanding of product flows, what’s the expected outcome & design content (infographics, widget card, explainers, etc.)
• You’ll get a chance to own content for a full category such as beauty & salon, wall decor, etc. This means you’ll get to own the success of these categories with other cross-functional teams.
• Work with researchers, content writers to design catalog content that users actually want to consume
• Use generative AI tools to aid your work, speed up your workflow & iterate fast (we provide this)
• While this role primarily focuses on designing in-app detailed content for services & products content, there are ample opportunities to work on video scripts, in-app magazine content, teaser or launch events, and more.

What we’re looking for

• A portfolio that speaks for itself. Your graphic design skills should be visible.
• 1- 3 years of experience in graphic or product design
• Highly proficient in Figma, Illustrator & Photoshop manipulation skills
• Proficient in Midjourney and/ or similar tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
• You should be able to design your ideas/ vision & be able to communicate your ideas as visually as possible
