Last month, while preparing for the public launch of UC’s Align Design System or ADS, we had an epiphany.

Why not revamp our merch kit with the new design language?

The timing couldn’t have been better; New design language, new goodies. It seemed like a nice gesture to show our appreciation to the entire tech team.

The brief

Design and produce a set of kickass merch. That’s it.

Oh yeah, one more thing — we only had a week to figure out the scope, designs, and production 🥲

And, that’s what we did. Here’s a snapshot of how it went (and most likely, how it might go for you)

Notebook

A place to jot down the next set of cool ideas.

Safety first, right? How about safety with some style.

A cool (constant) reminder of what Urban Company stands for.

Stickers

Sticking to our guns, 10 times over.

Flash cards

Yes! We designed a custom set of flash cards. All jargons and internal jokes — written in slick-matte-finish-colorful set of cards.

This is our favorite of the lot, by the way.

What’s next?

With the upcoming official launch, we’ll be giving the new kit to our fantastic team. So, stay tuned with the latest updates here.

Goofy, and reasonably funny — I’m a pretty simple guy. When not working, you’ll often find me reading, obsessing over artworks, and fiddling with my guitar. Overthinking, and cleaning my devices are some of my usual activities.
