We’ve also built our own water purifier and smart door locks that are absolutely loved by our customers.

Ever scrolled through the designs about a new, unique product and understood what it means without getting bored? This is what we are gunning for! Selling physical products online is easy. What we expect from you
- Craft highly engaging CGI, cinematic videos of impeccable quality & production value across a diverse array of projects.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Content, marketing & other cross-functional team members to understand project briefs. Then, translate them into compelling videos that effectively convey the intended message
- Collaborate with designers and writers within the team to curate creative assets for the video
- Establish & document a comprehensive set of animation styles to ensure consistency across all videos, ultimately contributing to Urban Company’s motion design guidelines
- Stay updated with advancements in animation, motion graphics, production design & generative AI
- You’re special — If you can create storyboards in the pre-production phase to communicate your ideas effectively. The storyboard has a clear storyline with annotations, copy suggestions, motion references, etc.
What you’ll work on
You’ll be the sole motion designer (for now) in the team who’ll work on:
- Feature, launch, onboarding & concept videos for Urban Company’s customer & partner app
- Feature, launch & demo videos for our physical products such as RO Water Purifier & Smart Door Locks
- Assist videographers and editors in standardising effects/ elements to elevate motion graphics in our videos
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a motion graphics role
- Ability to work across a diverse set of projects & manage them effectively. Proactive communication is the key.
- Solid aesthetic sense with a keen eye for detail. Excellent understanding of clean UI, typography, alignment and colours.
- Self-starter and can work with minimal supervision
- Ability to create and/ or adhere to brand style guidelines while creating videos
- High competency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lottie & Figma
- Knowledge of 3D software such as Blender & Cinema 4D is a plus
- Experience in UI prototyping by using Figma or Rotato is a plus
