Senior Product Designer — Growth

Location: Bengaluru, Gurgaon

Urban Company is Asia’s largest home services platform across India, UAE, Singapore, and the USA. We deliver services like Beauty treatments, appliance repairs & services, massages, home repairs, cooks, home cleaning, and many more at-home like never experienced before.

As a Senior Designer on the growth team, you will be working on our most challenging and impactful consumer-facing problems. Your work will encompass solving for user journeys across different user life-cycles, categories and geographies. You will be the custodian of the experience a user goes through when they discover, purchase and eventually go through the service experience. This role gives you a chance to shape and set the design playbook for how complex at-home services are consumed by users, a problem statement that UC has pioneered globally.

What we expect you to do

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring high-quality design outputs that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize design requirements.
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions, advocating for user-centric design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and evolving project requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, and integrate them into our design processes.

What we’re looking for

• Proven track record of delivering successful design solutions for complex digital products, preferably with 2–5 years of experience in a senior design role.
• Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, highlighting your design process and outcomes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present and articulate design rationale and concepts.
