UX/ Content Writer

What we expect you to do

• Work with different teams to gain deep understanding of Product flows, what’s the expected outcome and write UX copy
• Work with researchers, content designers to write catalog content that users actually want to consume
• Use generative AI tools to aid your research, speed up your workflow and iterate fast
• While this role primarily focuses on writing for core app flows and services & products content, there are ample opportunities to work on video scripts, in-app magazine content, teaser or launch events, and more.

What kind of work you’ll be doing

• Working with Product Designers to write super simple, consistent UX copy.
• Working in the Content Design team to write content for our services and products.

What we’re looking for

• A content portfolio that speaks for itself. Your work in UX writing & content writing should be clearly visible.
• 1- 3 years of experience in UX or content writing
• Proficiency in language, articulation, communication.. of course!
• Genuine curiosity. Writing for Urban Company apps is not trivial. We look for curiosity for digging the right hook, narratives to explain our app flows and UC services & products that are simple & compelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; what this means is you should be able to articulate your ideas/ vision well and work with others in the team
