Introducing U.CASH — A Global Peer to Peer Financial Services Network

It’s exciting for us to be able to introduce you to the project we have been working on for years. That project is called U.CASH, and our goal with U.CASH is to enable a peer-to-peer financial services ecosystem through a physical and online network that spans the entire globe. With U.CASH, we’re providing the tools and technology to financially empower everyone, everywhere, to earn and manage their financial assets.

Mobile and internet penetration is quite high in countries around the globe. But there’s a problem: not everyone has access to financial services that we often take for granted, such as currency exchange, bill payments, and access to credit. Sometimes those services are completely devoid in certain countries.

With U.CASH, that’s all set to change. Powered by a token called UCASH, we’re aiming to capture every consumer by providing decentralized peer-to-peer services that let them empower their world. With this, U.CASH is tapping into the sharing economy for financial services, much like Uber did for personal transportation.

A core feature of the U.CASH platform is the ability to convert fiat currency to digital currency, bridging the gap between the cash and cashless worlds. Users of the network will be able to take their fiat cash money (of any currency) and “lock” it into their digital U.CASH wallet — or better yet, convert the funds into UCASH or one of several popular cryptocurrencies. Want to turn those digital assets back to cash? Just visit one of U.CASH’s physical converters that are part of the U.CASH converter network that spans the globe. U.CASH is just like your personal, global “vault,” enabling you to access your financial assets when and where you require them.

But that’s just the beginning. U.CASH is so much more, and we have big plans for the platform. Users will eventually be able to pay bills, provide or access peer-to-peer loans, and use the U.CASH app as a virtual credit card for online purchases or wherever NFC tap-to-pay is accepted. You’ll eventually have the ability to buy, sell, send, convert and manage any digital asset including but not limited to gift cards, mobile minutes, and bullion.

I’m going to be frank with you — this is going to take a lot of work, and all hands are on deck in our Toronto, Canada and Mumbai, India offices.
