We’re continuing our tradition: every week UCoin will be publishing a short weekly cryptocurrency market news digest for you to stay informed on the latest trends. In this edition we look at what happened from 24 through 31 of May.

The total market capitalization of stablecoins has surpassed $100 billion. This figure has increased threefold since the start of the year.

Large investors took the opportunity to buy the dip last week and increased their BTC holdings. Chainalysis reports that whales bought some 77,000 BTC.

PayPal will allow cryptocurrency withdrawals to third-party wallets. This comes from the company’s VP, Jose Fernandez da Ponte.

American convenience store, cafe and gas station chain Sheetz has added a cryptocurrency payment option.
