For our last week, we focused on finishing up our prototype, commercial, and product brochure and preparing for our final presentation.

After going through the feedback we received from users and discussing with the TA’s and professors, we made some minor adjustments to the text boxes, and settings pages and we made a few small changes to the games, which were mainly just switching around some parts. However, one notable change that we made was for our first game, which was the identifying object test:

We decided to change the test into simply destroying any asteroids that you see on the side. This way, we can better mirror the official Star Cancellation Test; therefore making it better for testing saccade, which is the first of our three criteria. The other games only needed minor adjustments and additions.

However, a big change that we added to our prototype was a scoring report and a diagnostic report at the end for both our patients and doctors.

For the patients, this lets them know how well they did and what they can do next in rehabilitation.

Scoring results and report for patients

For the patients, this lets them know how well they did and what they can do next in rehabilitation.

A more detailed page for scoring results and a full diagnostic report for doctors

For the doctors, this is to inform them of their results in-game, which will then be translated into data that will help determine their diagnosis.

Other than finishing our prototype, we also completed our product brochure and commercial:

Draft version of our brochure

We had one of our members, Abdullah, create the draft version and then the rest of us added the finishing touches.

Final version of our brochure

For our commercial, we had one of our members, Taylor, edit our commercial:https://www.youtube.com/watchv=iDQOoaeymzA&ab_channel=TaylorWong

For our presentation, we compiled together all of our components and decided on the order of our whole presentation and divided up the parts for each member:

Then we drafted our slides, filled it with information and pictures, and then wrote our own individual scripts. Then, we scheduled meetings to practice our speech together.

After completing all of our components and memorizing our parts. We were finally ready for the final shark tank!!!

D-DAY!!!

After successfully completing the shark tank, Team Lotus finished as one of the runner-ups in the shark’s final decisions!
