To start off the week we reviewed each others portfolios and gave feedback to each other. Then after a short lecture from professor Boyle, we proceeded with user testing and giving feedback.

Classmates using our prototype and giving feedback

We split the team two ways: Omer, Kevin, and I would go around testing other teams prototypes while Jim, and Ghassan would stay and walk others through our prototype.

Kevin and Omer looking through prototypes

Our whole class basically had 2 methods by which they created their prototype. One side which preferred creating actual cardboard cutouts of how their final product would look, and run through. The other preferred using software such as Adobe Xd to create a more real simulation of how their product would look like. Whichever side a team chose, the prototypes overall for the entire class looked pretty solid. This user testing and feedback stage took up pretty much the entire class time, and when we finished, we got some very good suggestions for our web app.

Times runs forward and now its Thursday. We had the entire class time to work on our project. Here we first started to split up the work. The people who knew how to code would split up the coding, while the others would take on everything else. Ghassan, Omer, and I split up working on the beta prototype for website while Kevin, and Jim worked on design.

For basically the entire class we kept working on the web pages, and progressed almost to completion. The next step that were heading towards is finessing the web pages and ultimately connecting the whole project together.
