Udacity Talks is essentially an end-to-end interactive experience. From the moment student questions start coming in, to the moment when the last #UdacityTalks tweet goes out, people get really involved with this series, and that’s one of the things we love most about it.

We knew having Jess Lee (Co-founder & CEO of Polyvore) on Udacity Talks would be an especially exciting and engaging experience, given how important social networks and community engagement are to the Polyvore business model. So we made sure that our own intrepid Social Media Cognoscente Luz Donahue was safely ensconced in Udacity’s Social Mission Control as the event began, ready and prepared to catch all the wit and wisdom on offer. After all, it’s not everyday you get Sebastian Thrun and Jess Lee chatting live and unscripted!

Here is just a sampling of what we captured:

“Don’t make it a side project. If you’re passionate, just do it.”

That’s exactly the spirit we love to experience and share through our Udacity Talks series. We’ve been so fortunate to have so many great guests, and Jess Lee was truly remarkable. If you missed her episode, you can catch the recap here, and watch the full video as well.

Plus, please make sure to RSVP for the next episode of Udacity Talks with Eric Darnell. He’s theChief Creative Officer at Baobab Studios, which is a new company poised to become the preeminent animation studio for VR.

Until then, keep making an impact!

~
