Tales from Udacity Intersect 2017: Part II
It’s almost overwhelming, all the swirling activity of Intersect 2017. But as we take a break from the stage, we are able to move amongst one another, talk, connect, engage.
What am I loving the most right now?
A long but happy line of Udacity learners getting their headshots taken, in expectation of the visits they’ll be receiving to their LinkedIn pages in the aftermath of all this networking. This is one of the lovelier touches being laid on at Intersect—the opportunity to have a professional headshot taken!
Judging by the enthusiasm being expressed by our hiring partners who are here for the employer showcase today, these Udacians will indeed be getting those visits!
And meanwhile, in another room, our own Self-Driving Car evangelist Oliver Cameron is drilling down to one of the core reasons WHY this is such an important technology:
even as Mat Leonard speaks to a standing-only room about Deep Learning and … Creativity. We actually had to stop letting people in for a brief period of time, this was so popular!
And now, back to the Employer Showcase. This is where the real action is!
Is there still more to come? There is still more to come. We have only just begun!

thank you to o’donnell photography for the wonderful images from our event!
