This Week at Udacity, March 30 edition
Intersect 2018, Udacity at NVIDIA, Udacity alumni at Google, and more!
Hard as it is to believe, Intersect 2018 has come and gone. But as noted in one of many posts written about the event:
“Intersect happens once a year. But the connections forged, and the opportunities claimed, last a lifetime.”
Tuesday’s Intersect 2018 event actually kicked off the night before, with an amazing Alumni VIP event at The Google Garage:
“I believe that when you have a group of self-selected highly motivated students, and you support them with good teachers, the latest technology, and a supportive community, then there are no limits to what they can achieve.”
As to Intersect 2018 itself, we’re going to expand our Tweet of the Week feature a bit, in order to give you a snapshot of the experience. Here are just some of the amazing tweets published during the conference:
It’s testament to the absolutely unstoppable passion of our Udacity teams that literally the day after Intersect, our Robotics and School of AI teams were hitting the ground running. If you’ve ever wanted to wire up a real robot and teach it how to learn, here’s how it’s done!
“This is inspirational; it is a real interaction with technology. We MADE it perform those actions!” — Samantha Spraque, USAA
And THAT … is This Week at Udacity!
