At Udacity, your success is our success. We’re here to provide you with the best learning experience you’ve ever had, so that you can advance your life and career goals. We succeed, when you succeed.

Which is why student success stories are our favorite stories to tell!

We had the honor of sharing two wonderful ones this week. First up, Xi Palazzolo’s Journey to Career Success. And we DO mean journey!

“While I was still working in my previous role, I remember saying to my husband that I’d never had the experience of recruiters chasing after me about different roles. I didn’t know what that would feel like. Now I do, and it was a great feeling!”

We also shared a story about Marie Leaf, who is a pioneer learner as well, and who built her own unique career path:

“I just began to feel really empowered to understand that I was a creator rather than an observer.”

Can you feel the theme here? Yes! There is no objective “right” path. There is only YOUR goals, and your path to get there.

Getting there, when it comes to your career, can sometimes feel like a philosophical battle—almost like you’re on exploration to figure out who you really are. But other times, career advancement is just straight up tactical. For those times, Udacity’s careers team is always ready with helpful guidance and advice. For example, Martin McGovern has been presenting a video series about common career questions, and he just delivered a fantastic Part 3 of 3:

The Tweet of the Week!

Couldn’t resist this one, for being one of the greatest explanations for learning to build self-driving cars we’ve ever seen!

And THAT … is This Week at Udacity!
