One of the most exciting launches in our Udacity history happened earlier this week when we introduced our new Student Hub to the Udacity classroom. Here’s how Carolin Steurer, Senior Product Manager for Student Services at Udacity, began her announcement:

“We know it takes dedication and courage to learn new skills and explore new career opportunities. We are committed to providing you with all the resources and support you need to achieve your learning goals and advance your career. That’s why, today, we are launching the new Student Hub experience to all of our existing and new students. The Student Hub provides you with an effective way to connect with fellow students and receive support and guidance from knowledgeable mentors.”

In other groovy Udacity news, we published the third in our ongoing series of Built on Blockchain interviews, and it’s a particularly compelling one:

“What we really want to do is enable every citizen, wherever they may be, whichever country they reside in, to have an easy access to voting, regardless of their position in society. And we want them to be able to do that with an electoral infrastructure that is resilient to interference and disruption.”

If you’re interested in securing the election process, you can read this fascinating interview in full here:

Elsewhere across the media landscape, we find Sebastian Thrun making a pretty remarkable pronouncement about AI:

“For me, AI is perhaps the biggest revolution of the modern age.”

Do you agree? Whether you do or not, this interview is certainly an insightful read:

Here’s something else special that aired this week—the latest video from our Careers Team! This time, they’re here to help you understand the perils of “job search tunnel vision.”

And with that, we come to your favorite feature and mine …
