This week, something very special took place, and we’re devoting our entire edition to it: The Udacity Fall Hiring Partner Pop-Up!

Here’s how it read in the invite:

In acknowledgement of the upcoming graduation of our Self Driving Car and Artificial Intelligence students, as well as our recent Machine Learning grads, we are throwing a special event. It’s our Udacity Hiring Partner Pop-Up!

Join us on Tuesday, September 26th as we offer graduates and students the exclusive opportunity to connect directly with representatives from a select group of Udacity Hiring Partners, in a night of interviews, networking, and information-sharing.

I can read the names, but it’s hard to believe they’re all really here — Amazon, BMW, Bosch, Continental, Didi Chuxing, IBM Watson, Google, JD.com, Lyft, Mercedes-Benz, NVIDIA, Uber ATG, Volkswagen, and Voyage.

After all the hard work bringing this event to life, it’s tempting to allow ourselves the pleasure of believing these amazing companies are here because of us. But they aren’t. Not really. They’re here because of the students.
