#UDLchat: Expert Learners

The goal of Universal Design for Learning is expert learners: learners who are purposeful and motivated, resourceful and knowledgeable, and strategic and goal-directed. It’s also true that the concept of “expert learner” can be elusive. What does being an expert learner mean? What does it look like in practice? How can we model expert learning for our students, colleagues, and participants in our learning experiences?

The chat question preview includes some resources on expert learning, and the questions themselves guided the conversation:
