Classic Games

  • Average day 1 user retention in 2023 for the top 25% of games in the classic genre was 31%. For median games, it was 22%, and for the bottom 25% of games, it was 12%.
  • After day 7, the top 25% of games in the classic genre retained 11% of users on average. The median 50% of casual games retained 6%, and the bottom 25% retained just 2%.

  • Day 1 retention for the top 25% of mid-core games was 26% in 2023. For the median 50% of games, it was 18%, and for the bottom 25%, it was 11%.
