As nothing will remain the same in the business world after the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of changes are already happening about the way we do the business in general.

With most people now working from home, there’s no doubt that many businesses are considering Workplace as a potential option to help keep their teams connected.

Dictating trends has always been one of Facebook’s strategies, so their urge to enrich “work from home” conditions doesn’t surprise us. Their professional Workplace platform gained new features, satisfying both rising demand and usage trends.

Safety first — Safety Alerts feature was added to Workplace to communicate relevant incidents without requiring a response.

Another novelty is the new Knowledge Library where companies can keep their resources in one place, helping employees save time that’s usually lost on searching for specific information. It represents a single place for creating, storing, and sharing static content as well as for keeping company resources on the platform.

„Draft for“ is another new option on the platform. It allows employees to draft posts on behalf of executives. It helps speed things up by letting executives review, approve, correct, or publish materials from the Workplace, without the usual delays that would happen in the office.

Facebook’s also adding a new ‘Campaigns’ messaging analytics tool for internal communications, which will include stats on reach, engagement and sentiment for internal company updates.

And lastly, Facebook’s latest update on Workplace is the new ‘Care’ reaction for use on internal updates. It’s also adding new profile frames, enabling users to show support for COVID-19 related causes.
