The students at the Valenti School of Communication are the next generation of storytellers. We want to publish stories that are written by students, for students. This pursuits us to have editorial standards for submissions we received. It is important for writers to follow the criteria below before turning in their writings.

Things to Remember

It Is Best To Send Us Your Unpublished Drafts

In order for your story to perform as its best, we encourage you to send us your unpublished drafts. Medium favors fresh stories by the date they were published ( not when it was accepted into a publication) To do so, you might want to check out Medium’s guildlines on how to add draft or post to a publication.

Response Time

The response time can be varies, but we will make sure to review your request as soon as possible. If you have not heard back from Valenti Voices for more than 2 weeks, please assume that your story might not be published.

Request to Submit

To have your stories considered, please fill out this form. Filling out the form does not guarantee addition as Valenti Voice’s writer. Make sure you check your Medium’s username before turning in the form. Incorrect usernames will not be considered.

Each new request will be handled by Jack J. Valenti School of Communication staffs and will take time to process. Please be patient with us.

If your story is the right fit, we will be in touch soon.
