Sentnl has completed the audit of our blockchain and confirmed that our solution is reliable and that our team is doing a great job building what will be the backbone of the next generation games distribution platform. The following article, written by our Blockchain Product Manager Rami James, gives additional details on what was tested and how Sentnl proceeded.
Now that the Blockchain audit has been completed, our next milestone will be the release of Ultra Mainnet. We will share dates once we are ready to formalize them.
Ultra interoperability
As you probably know, UOS will continue to live as an ERC20 on Ethereum, after the mainnet is launched. Token holders will be free to swap whenever they want, and later this year, we will implement a 2 way solution enabling UOS to be moved freely between both blockchains.
We want to be sure our token holders are not required to change their behavior unless they want to, and allow them the choice to hold UOS in their favorite Ethereum wallet or to use decentralized exchanges such as Uniswap, or a combination of both. We have also added the ability to swap UOS to pUOS and trade on EOSFINEX, enabling UOS on the EOS blockchain.
We will continue to explore additional use cases for UOS ERC20 or pUOS in the future as we see opportunities arise.
In addition, we are exploring NFT interoperability with projects such as The Sandbox and Elrond, exploring the ability to send an Ultra NFT on Ethereum, which can only meet its full potential on Ultra blockchain. Ethereum NFTs could also be hosted on Ultra, profiting off our feeless transactions and ecosystem.This will emphasize the value of our blockchain and standard, while also attracting more users which will mechanically increase Ultra NFTs value.
Interoperability is right now one of the most complex topics for the blockchain industry, there is a long road ahead, but we are continuously working with it in mind and exploring many different solutions.
General update
Wave 1
As you all know, Wave 1 is underway. We want to thank all the participants and express that their feedback has been very precious for the dev team who is improving the platform as we speak. One of the features that is being refined is the multi-currency system to allow payments and price display in any national currency, starting with the 5 majors (USD, EUR, AUD, GBP, CAD). We are also improving Theta integration, enhancing homepage carousel customization, and releasing improved versions of our webinstaller and UltraCloud documentation.
On top of adding new feature, we continue fixing bugs and improving the stability and efficiency of the Ultra client.
This update has now been pushed out to our Wave 1 testers. We have asked them to try the platform again and give a new round of feedback. Our goal is to release a new public version of Ultra every month. We will keep you updated on that!
Wave 2
As the Ultra client and blockchain are being improved, we are preparing the second wave, which will provide access to more community members.
To celebrate the public release of the Ultra platform, we organized a giveaway to grant the very first Wave 2 access. Out of around 1000 participants, we are glad to announce that the winner is @ericeastco!
