Hey all!

Thank you all once again for your support during the early stages of our development over the past 2 years. The success of our IEO reflected the high interest in our project and we are now very proud to count token holders as participants in Ultra’s success.

As you know, Ultra generated $5 million in token sales during the IEO, of which $1 million sold out in less than 35 seconds on Tokinex.

Ultra has raised a total of $11,381,611 between 2 different rounds: The presale (Seed, Presale#1, Presale#2), and the IEO.

Presale

Total $6,381,611. All tokens are locked for 3 months, and then vested linearly over 9 months.

Seed: 5.21% of all tokens sold for a price of $0.063

Presale #1 3.95% of all tokens sold for a price of $0.071

Presale #2 0.39% of all tokens sold for a price of $0.077

IEO

Total $5,000,000 contributed.

Blockround: $3M of all tokens sold for a price of $0.05, vested over 3 months (34% unlocked and then 33% per month).

Renrenbit: $1M of all tokens sold for a price of $0.05 unlocked.

Tokinex: $1M of all tokens sold for a price of $0.05 unlocked.

Here is our ERC20 Token contract: 0xd13c7342e1ef687c5ad21b27c2b65d772cab5c8c

Locked Tokens are still in the smart contract, and will need to be claimed in due time for any token holders that are vested, including the tokens from the company.

We will regularly update the community on company announcements, product milestones, and token dynamics such as when the token unlock will happen. We will also provide more details about how we plan to use these tokens as new opportunities emerge.

Our team is expanding by the week, as Ultra continues to fill roles and increase staff. To see what we’re hiring for, you can have a look at this page: https://www.welcometothejungle.co/en/companies/ultra/jobs

For this blog post, we’d like to introduce the three team members we’ve just added to our website at https://ultra.io

Hakima Nouali

Talent Acquisition https://www.linkedin.com/in/hakima-nouali

To help us with our rapid expansion, we’ve hired a specialist dedicated to finding the right talent. Adding Hakima to our team has greatly improved our hiring speed. Her natural talent at finding the right candidates has allowed us to move quickly on key hires. We will primarily be expanding our developer teams, marketing team, but will also be hiring some support roles with a target of 100 employees before the end of the year!

Damien Léger

Senior Devops https://www.linkedin.com/in/damienleger

Damien is a key hire that will help us scale our platform in a secure and reliable environment. When working for SmartAd Server, one of his primary roles was to ensure the continuous improvement of quality & performance of architecture for ~1000 servers in France and internationally. He then moved on to Mirakl where he supported GNU/Linux CentOS Servers and cloud servers in addition to his daily responsibilities.

Arnaud Boucherie

Product Owner https://www.linkedin.com/in/aboucherie

Former Project Manager for both Blizzard and Ubisoft (8 years), Arnaud joined Ultra to work with our existing product owners to continue translating the vision of our executives into product definition, feature sets and timelines, and which are then communicated to our developers for implementation of those features.

This staffing will allow us to move quickly in adding new features and expanding our product so that it meets market needs and creates true value around the token.

Each month, our Product team, Martin Le Masson, Guillaume Dupré and now Arnaud Boucherie, will present the team with a Product Monthly Review, led by our CTO Mike Dunn.

The objective of our monthly product call is to create a connection and clear communication between the dev team that work primarily in our Parisian Office, and the rest of the team around the world. This enables everyone on our global team to be aware of platform features, progress and priorities.

Progress on the developer closed beta is phenomenal, we are currently deploying v.2, and are onboarding key partners to test it, do some QA, give us feedback, and help flesh out our documentation. The purpose of this is to gather feedback about our SDK and developer center from veteran game developers so that we know where to improve the whole process of uploading games on Ultra.

If you’re a developer and want to register for developer closed beta, please sign up here: https://ultra.io/sign-up-for-closed-beta/

In conjunction with building our developer backend, we’ve also been testing our blockchain as the closed beta v3, planned for next month, will connect our private testnet to our platform, ensuring the crypto wallet integration and the token factories are integrated properly.

Once complete, game developers will be able to create their smart contracts and tokenize their games with our NFT technology.

V3 is also where we will work directly with one of our partners to start a player closed beta and player QA testing. The majority of these players will be professional QA testers, who will report bugs, send feedback and work with our development teams to improve the product prior to open beta.

This player closed beta will allow us to adjust for scale and ensure the player experience is as good as the developer one before opening Ultra to the first real users.

Planned for end of September, the Open Beta will be the first version of Ultra, where users will be able to buy and download games and play them, which is the core function of the Ultra ecosystem. This phase also allows us to test our platform further to ensure it’s ready for prime time and is an enjoyable experience for developers, players, influencers, and other members of the games industry ecosystem.

Here is a sneak peak at our store front:

Busy travel weeks ahead for some team members! In early August, several executives including David Hanson, Edward Moalem, Melissa Brown and Lee O’Donovan will attend China Joy in Shanghai, the biggest game show of Asia, to meet with our Chinese partner.

They will be coordinating meetings across several areas essential to growth in this region, including publishing games on the Ultra platform in China and holding meetings with developers and publishers.

From there, they will go to Paris for on-site meetings at the Montparnasse offices and then to Gamescom in Germany. The biz dev team, headed by Edward, has already lined up a number of meetings with partners and will also be giving demos and updates to major publishers and developers of all sizes.

These meetings will secure content and further strengthen relationships essential to the success of the platform.

Our users are at the heart of our platform and everything we do is driven by the desire to serve our community. We are working with potential partners to continue to line up incredible features, products and services for you!

We are aware that today’s lack of volume and price decline are affecting our community, and we are working on that front even if we don’t want to be market sentiment driven, UOS is key to our entire ecosystem and will be widely used across Ultra for all interactions (https://medium.com/ultra-io/in-this-article-we-will-provide-our-community-more-detailed-information-on-the-function-of-the-uos-5a809b6119fb)

Good things take time, and the announcements we have need proper preparation for all parties involved. However, in the coming days, we will have something exciting to reveal about our Blockchain and some parts of our tech that weren’t disclosed before the IEO.

We are committed to these monthly community updates to provide you have a regular recap of everything that’s been happening and a consistent preview of things to come.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome for the next community update blog post!
