Introducing DevHeroes: A Social Platform for Gamers and Developers Built on Ultra
We welcome DevHeroes to the Ultra ecosystem, a social platform where developers can connect and collaborate.
We’re excited to introduce DevHeroes, an innovative social platform tailored for developers and gamers. The DevHeroes platform aims to connect like-minded developers through a familiar social platform with added utilities fueled by web3 technology. DevHeroes is integrating Ultra’s technology, leveraging our infrastructure to host payments, points systems, and more.
The DevHeroes Platform
The platform aims to connect and provide opportunities for developers through traditional social media features, along with additional features that improve the process of collaboration. On DevHeroes, developers can easily gain inspiration, find opportunities, and collaborate with like-minded builders.
DevHeroes’ platform introduces various foundational features designed to foster community engagement and collaboration. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
- DevStream: A personalized social feed enabling users to post, like, share, comment, follow, and connect with fellow developers
- Guilds: Dedicated pages and feeds for guilds, complete with chat rooms, job postings, discovery features, and more
- Jobs: A platform for guilds to post and manage job listings, including chat rooms, live payments, and milestone management
- Messaging: Personal and group chat functionalities for seamless communication
- Chronicles: Social sharing, tagging, and categorization features to highlight user-generated content
- Search: Comprehensive search capabilities for individuals, guilds, and posts, enhancing discoverability within the platform
Utilizing Ultra’s Technology
Although the first stages of DevHeroes will not integrate with Ultra’s technology, here’s a look at how DevHeroes plans to integrate with Ultra:
- Initial Integration: The integration kicks off with Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to create DevHeroes accounts using Ultra login credentials
- UOS Payments: DevHeroes will implement UOS payments on its jobs platform, facilitating seamless transactions within the ecosystem
- Timeline: Full integration with Ultra, including advanced features, is expected to span approximately six months, with UOS payments rolling out earlier
- Dev Score: A unique feature known as Dev Score is in development and is slated to launch during the testing phase. Dev Score can lead to further privileges support by Ultra’s tech
- Subscription Model: Following UOS payments, a subscription model will be introduced to provide benefits and support the rewards pool
- User Levels and Uniqs: Future enhancements will include displaying user levels based on XP and showcasing Uniqs within the platform.
- Credits System: Prototyping a credits system that will tie in with Ultra for redemption and user rewards
- Platform Sign-Ups: Users can sign up for the DevHeroes newsletter directly on the platform homepage, providing valuable feedback for future improvements
- Airdrops and Email Linking: Airdrops will be seamlessly distributed, with considerations to link DevHeroes and Ultra account emails for streamlined communication
Become an Early Supporter — The DevHeroes Pioneer Collection
To join as an early supporter of DevHeroes and contribute to the platform’s development, players can participate in the DevHeroes Pioneer Collection. This collection will come in two parts:
Airdrop 1
Simply sign up for the Dev Heroes Newsletter (with your Ultra account email) and receive an airdrop Uniq.
- 1st 250: Will receive a Legendary Pioneer Piece
- 2nd 250: Will receive a Rare Pioneer Piece
- 3rd 250: Will receive a Common Pioneer Piece
Airdrop 2
Fill out a feedback form about your experience with the platform.
If you hold any of the Uniqs from Airdrop 1, you will receive a second Airdrop of the same upon submitting the feedback form.
Example:
If you hold a Legendary from Newsletter sign up: You will receive a 2nd Legendary piece which will act as your multiplier in the platform.
The same goes if you hold a Common or Rare piece.
The second airdrop’s utility is an XP multiplier for our upcoming Genesis Collection. XP will form the loyalty system of the DevHeroes ecosystem. The more XP you have, the greater potential you have to earn more rewards. XP will be integrated into the DevHeroes platform, with the reward pool growing through a portion of the fees collected on the platform, Uniq sales, future features, and more.
The legendary holders will hold the largest multiplier, the rare will have the second largest, and the common will have the smallest.
