Ultra Chill Recap: Ultra’s Roadmap
--
Today we’re pretty stoked to have David and Nicolas on to talk about Ultra’s Roadmap for 2022 and beyond.
We’ll be covering a range of topics from the Uniq Marketplace to Ultra Games, updates to the Ultra Wallet, our upcoming Tournament platform, and of course the exclusive triple-A games that are nearing the final stages of development.
Before we dive into all that, just a heads up that this episode is the last one for season one. We’ll be taking a few weeks to get organized for season 2 of Ultra Chill.
So, let’s get to it!
The Uniq Marketplace
The Marketplace is probably the product that Ultra has shown the most of to the world so far. It’s a deeply foundational piece of the larger puzzle for what Ultra wants to build. We’d like to start out this show with an update on how the Marketplace is shaping up.
The execs discussed the status of the Marketplace, what kind of content the community can expect, and timelines for release.
Ultra Games
We’re currently in wave 2 and will be expanding access out into wave 3. The execs discussed how this expanded access will work and who will get access.
Exclusive AAA Titles
Something that we know the community is really hungry for is more news about the AAA games that Ultra has been involved in. We’re still holding these cards really close to our chest, but we are sure that you guys would like to hear a little bit about the two games that have been in development.
The execs discussed our upcoming sports game and the free-to-play FPS game that have been in development for the past two years.
Ultra’s Tournament Platform
This is one of the most exciting things that Ultra is working on. We believe that it is super innovative, and because of its deep integration into all the things that Ultra has been working on for years, it will enhance our entire platform.
The execs talk about how the Tournament Platform will work, how users will users be able to access it from within Ultra, and how Uniqs, games, and streaming tie into tournaments.
Updates to the Ultra Wallet
We’re going to be expanding the utility of the Ultra wallet, with some key features that will make it more secure and more useful. David and Nicolas talk about how we’ll be enhancing the security of the platform with 2FA, hardware wallet support, and updates to our Easy Blockchain Account system. Beyond that, new inventory system, history of transactions, and our upcoming referral system are also outlined.
Ultra Mobile
To support the Ultra platform, we’ll also be releasing a mobile app in the future. David talks about the functionality will Ultra’s mobile offering will include and why we think this is a big win for our users.
