We recently announced that our blockchain is publicly open for creators and developers to create their own Uniqs and smart contracts. This is a huge milestone for our ecosystem, as we invite creators from all over to build and create within our ecosystem!
To celebrate the milestone, we’re throwing a Uniq creation contest with 10,000 $UOS up-for-grabs. Our friends at Ultraislife have built a Uniq manager tool that makes the Uniq creation process a breeze — get started here.
Ultra Pro Wallet!
The Ultra Pro Wallet feature is officially live through the Ultra Chrome extension!
Pro accounts are simple blockchain accounts that typically would be used by software developers and backend services, they can be manually managed and secured. Here’s what comes with the Ultra Pro Wallet:
- Generate your own private keys
- Manage multiple accounts
- More privacy
- Key to opening the Ultra Blockchain to 3rd party developers and creators

We welcome Exverse to Ultra Games, a first-person shooter that merges intense shooter gameplay with innovative web3 mechanics.
Ultra’s Power #2, #6, and #13 Uniq holders were granted alpha access, alongside the winners of the giveaway we held to celebrate the alpha launch of Exverse on Ultra.
Official Migration to Electron!
We’ve officially migrated from a Chromium-based client to Electron! The move to Electron boasts various benefits for the team and our players:
- Electron will boost our development team’s productivity and stability in releasing new builds
- Electron’s cross-platform nature opens the door for Ultra to become available on other operating systems
- The shift to electron moves us away from a browser-like platform, and more to an app-centric experience
