Honorably Dishonored.
FreedomDzns was an upcoming European (from Derby, United Kingdom) graphic designer who had some real potential to be a top competitor in the online graphics community. With some real talent and cheap graphic prices, it’s no wonder why he’s getting a lot of attention from teams and organizations within the YouTube gaming community. However was it all for nothing?
Lucky 7 is a major YouTube gaming organization with almost 200,000 subscribers on YouTube (http://t.co/sSztQn7n2k) and 110,000 followers on Twitter (https://twitter.com/Lucky7Sniper). The Lucky 7 graphics team (known as Lucky 7 Projects), which is lead by L7 x ODIN (@GFXSTA), L7 Xeroh (@XerohArts), and L7 Height (@L7Height), held a recruitment challenge in search for top new designers. Out of the hundreds of entries the L7 team picked up four new designers and awarded four honerable mentions. One of those honorable mentions being FreeedomDzns. Freedom however didn’t feel honored. He actually felt the oposite telling another design community member: “@ItsBlazy nah I’m pissed”. A little frustration with not winning is understandable but not being accepted has put Freedom in a rant that possibly destroyed his career. Freedom has been on a non-stop rant gaining a lot of attention from the entire community including current L7 members: “@FreedomDzns @ItsBlazy Just be happy for other people for once.” says L7 Zombie (@L7Zombie) — “@Freedomdzn @L7Zombie @ItsBlazy chill” says L7 Height. With all this advice being offered for free. Nothing stops Freedom from speaking his mind: “@L7Zombie @ItsBlazy happy for people that are friends with the leads nah I’m happy for veto and joker that’s it” “@ ItsBlazy @L7Zombie because two of emm don’t deserve it”.
Since Freedom’s initial reaction to the Lucky 7 Project recruitment challenge results Freedom has been attacked by a lot of members of both the gaming and the graphics community. Freedom has also announced that he will quit and leave the community. He has also changed his display name on Twitter to simply “quit”. Out of all this, a promising career that hasn't even begin to reach it’s limits is now dead. What possibly could’ve happened if Freedom was humble and accepted the honorable mention and used this loss to fuel him to work harder and join FaZe or Creative Grenade. I guess we will never know what could’ve happened out of the amazing potential.
