For us, ARKit is Apps 3.0 — every category on the App Store can benefit from full AR apps or AR-Ready apps.

When the UI would be in front of us all the time (aka Glasses), session times are going to change — if now most people “killing their time” on Facebook, they will have new ways to interact with people and spaces around them, and that’s an opportunity for games, productivity and creative apps developers. This is why Facebook is heavily invested in bringing Facebook to AR and VR and being competitive enough to deliver outstanding experiences.

As developers, we are more than excited about ARKit. It’s a game changer for the apps industry.
