We’re back with a shower of updates after a month-long break.
From a new live series to engineering progress and strategic partnerships, we’ve been working to enhance our decentralized oracle solutions.
Let’s dive into what’s new and what’s next:
Technical Updates
Eugenio, Umbrella’s Product Owner, shared that we are continuously working on the Data Layer architecture, a development set to transform our product functionality.
This new architecture will not only support our current offerings but also will set the foundation for our upcoming On-Demand data solution. Eugenio elaborated that the Data Layer is designed to bring value by enhancing existing products and enabling new features that projects in our network will find invaluable.
This On-Demand Data solution will allow projects to access specific data without needing pre-configured feeds, offering greater flexibility and efficiency.
Another exciting progress is our successful deplyment with Rootstock using Sovryn and Uniswap V3, significantly expanding our oracle services reach.
Bearing the fruits of the integration, Balmy, formerly Mean Finance, is now using Umbrella’s price feeds to fuel DCA-ing and recurring investments on Rootstock.
Partnership Updates
Dino, our Head of Business Development, shared insights from the Brussels conference and hinted at an exciting potential collaboration in the works.
The session also touched on the strategic approach to conferences and industry events, emphasizing quality over quantity in Umbrella’s participation with plans for the Token 2049 conference in Singapore.
Marketing Updates
We kicked off our newly launched roundtable sessions, a live broadcast where we invite founders, experts, and our partners to share their vision and dissect news about the crypto space.
The inaugural session featured Martin Li, Rootstock’s Co-Marketing manager where we delved into the exciting future of Bitcoin Layer 2 solutions.
The conversation also covered DeFi on Bitcoin, the Rootstock Grants Program, and how Umbrella is fueling the Rootstock ecosystem.
