June’s Table Talks brought together Umbrella’s doxxed team to discuss the latest progress and future goals. This time the live talk was on Youtube, and you can rewatch it through this link.

Team expansion
As part of team expansion, the team introduced Dino to the community as the Business Development & Partnership Manager. Dino brings a wealth of experience from the crypto world, having transitioned from the web2 space and worked on significant projects in the web3 ecosystem.
In his own words, Dino shared, “As an enthusiast in the field of decentralized governance structures, joining Umbrella Network was a natural next step for me.”
Technical Updates
We’ve made substantial progress on the engineering front to sustain the strategy. We recently announced our live integration with Concordium, a notable achievement given the complexities involved. Integrating with a non-EVM compatible platform requires significant adaptations, but our team rose to the challenge.
Continuing our deployment on Rootsock, we are also working on integrating with Rootstock native DEXes, such as Sovryn and Uniswap V3.
Moreover, we’ve embarked on the development of our data layer, a major evolution of our current solution. This initiative will be rolled out in phases, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers and validators.
Partnership Updates
The team is gearing up for one of the biggest events in the Ethereum ecosystem, the Ethereum Community Conference, EthCC, in Brussels, from July 8th to 12th.
Our BD team will be there to meet new potential partners and grow the whole Umbrella ecosystem.
Furthermore, the team is also working on an in-event campaign to distribute new branded merchandise and engage with the community.

Marketing Updates
Our marketing efforts have been paying off, particularly through our campaigns on Galxe. These Learn and Earn campaigns have been instrumental in attracting quality followers and engaging the community.
John shared insights into our strategy, saying, “The focus has been on getting more quality members, ensuring they are genuinely interested.”
We remain open to suggestions from the community. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping our marketing strategies and ensuring we meet the community’s expectations.
Token Utility and Governance
A significant highlight was the recent implementation of our token utility plan, following a successful snapshot vote. Read more about it in our past article here.
Now our partners are transacting in $UMB tokens, a move that increases our token’s utility and aligns with our long-term vision.
