Umbrella Network is Live on BSC Mainnet
Umbrella Network is excited to announce that we are officially live on BSC Mainnet! Looking back, our #RoadToMainnet has been a buildup of hard work and effort by the team, along with tremendous support by our community and ecosystem of partners.
While we are proud of the achievement, and the relatively fast progression to mainnet just 4 months after our IDO in February, we recognize that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The #RoadToMainnet is only just beginning, as we have many more goals and objectives we need to realize against our roadmap (See Umbrella Network Roadmap here).
However, it is an important milestone to have our oracles running in a live environment, accessible to the broader developer community. And this important inflection point will now allow us to start working with our various partners to begin to integrate our oracle feeds, as we move towards our next major objective of gaining broader market adoption, and to have real world use cases as we grow our ecosystem.
Any solution should always be evolving, so while we have gone live, this doesn’t mean we are done with our work. There are many areas that we will be continually upgrading, including releasing new and improved feature sets, adding many more new data pairs, continuing to add more data sources to further increase price reliability, and making the shift towards a fully decentralized governance structure, just to name a few.
And as we move towards a multi-chain interoperable world, we will continue to integrate and support more blockchains and their ecosystems, as we look to grow our user base of developers and applications that will rely on our oracles for low cost, secure, and highly scaled data.
