Yuna & Usher’s Video Love Letter to Interracial Couples

This song was already beautiful as Yuna & Usher croon about a feeling that starts almost every relationship, a crush. Shot on the steps of Los Angeles’s iconic city hall building the story unfolds in slow motion as a number of couples have their first looks at each other. What makes this video different is each of the couples featured in the video are interracial. Not that interracial marriage is rare in our world as there are more interracial marriages in the United States today than in any other time. Yet it is a subtle point being made here in this video that today love for many couples is beyond the borders of race, and national boundaries that may have once kept us apart. Highly recommended listening and viewing.
